Tex The World (Improved)

Tex The World is a chromium extensions that allows you to use \LaTeX everywhere on the web. Of course, It only be visible for those who have the extension installed.

The original version was written by Avital Oliver for Firefox. And then was wrapped by Rodrigo for chromium.

The big difference in my version is that I’m using my server to render latex (therefor, I can add packages! If you me to add one, just comment on the post with the package name), and I’ve changed the syntax a bit. Instead of [; ;], I’ve decided to use the following syntax:

$latex latex-code-here $

Let me know if you got any ideas for further improvements.

A little bit of Scotland

Last summer I’ve traveled all around Europe without any real planning.

The only part the trip that was planned was flying to Scotland and walk the West Highland Way.

The West Highland Way

There is a beautiful nature along the way…

Blowing in the wind

You never travel alone along the west highland way, there are always so many animals around…

And even a beautiful butterfly!

When we’ve started walking, the weather was great. Unfortunately, after 4 days and approximately 100 km the weather changed and it started raining all day so we had to quit walking.

Walking in the fog

Because we had to stop our journey, we decided to try and hitchhike, It was a big surprise when a guided tour stopped and picked us up (We learned the hard way how lucky we were, Hitchhiking in Scotland is not an easy task at all. We spent more than 3 hours waiting for a ride the following day).

Rose (the tour guide who picked us up)

Loch Ness (We sailed in Loch Ness with the guided tour that picked us up)

And of course we got to see pipers along the way!

The road to hell is paved with good intentions

The following “joke” is in Hebrew because it doesn’t translate as well in English. Sorry.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions

Thanks to Ori Katz for the general idea.

Does anyone have a proof for that?
